Convention Podcast Booths in Las Vegas: Cost, Setup and What to Ask

Convention Podcast Booths in Las Vegas: Cost, Setup and What to Ask
By Luis Barraza, Founder & CEO of G Media · Updated September 22, 2026
The short answer: A podcast booth at a Las Vegas convention is a small recording set built inside your exhibit space: two chairs, two cameras, a microphone on each person and a producer running it. G Media's mobile podcast setup runs $750 per hour with a 3-hour minimum, and same-day clips are cut for Reels, TikTok and LinkedIn while the show is open.

What is a convention podcast booth?

A convention podcast booth turns part of your exhibit into a recording set. Speakers, sponsors, customers and partners sit down for short recorded conversations, and each one becomes an episode, a YouTube cut and a handful of vertical clips. The draw is simple: people stop at a booth where something is being filmed, and every guest you record has a reason to share the clip with their own audience.

G Media is based in Las Vegas, so the crew and the gear are local. There is no crew travel to book, and the same team that runs our four-set podcast studio on S Durango Dr runs the booth on the floor.

What is included in a G Media podcast booth?

The mobile podcast booth is the full studio, brought to the venue and run for you.

The setup is built for back-to-back sessions, so a full day of short interviews with speakers, sponsors and guests is normal at a multi-day convention.

How much does a podcast booth rental cost in Las Vegas?

G Media's mobile podcast production runs $750 per hour with a 3-hour minimum. That covers the crew and gear at your venue. The number of days, the hours per day and how many edited episodes and clips you want shape the final quote, which we put in writing before the show.

If your guests can come to us instead, a session at our studio is a different product: a first fully edited episode there is $149 for about 90 minutes. The studio rental guide compares the two.

How much space does a podcast booth need?

Roughly a 10 by 10 corner of your booth is enough for two chairs, two cameras, a microphone on each person and a producer. Tell us your booth size and floor plan early, and whether the walls are hard wall or pipe and drape: pipe and drape moves, and it shows in every wide shot.

How do you get clean audio on a loud convention floor?

A convention hall is a large, echoing room with a PA, forklifts and a neighboring booth running a demo loop. A room microphone picks up all of it. We put one microphone on each person, inches from the mouth, and record every source separately, so a noisy channel can be fixed in the edit instead of thrown away.

What should you book before load-in?

Las Vegas venues have rules that are easier to meet three weeks out than on the morning of the show. Book the booth crew three weeks before load-in or earlier, then settle these:

  1. Order power. Booth power is ordered in advance through the show, not on setup day.
  2. Confirm load-in. Know your load-in window and whether the venue requires union labor for setup.
  3. Check the walls. Hard wall or pipe and drape, and where the set will face.
  4. Book the guests. Ask your top customers, partners and speakers for 20 minutes at a set time. Booked interviews beat walk-ups.
  5. Decide who posts. We can post clips to your accounts during the show as part of social media management, or hand the edited clips to your team.

Our convention content capture checklist has the full list.

Which Las Vegas venues and shows do you cover?

G Media covers events across Las Vegas, including the Las Vegas Convention Center, Mandalay Bay, the Venetian and other major convention and conference venues. Show clients include CrimeCon and NAMB National 2026 at Caesars Palace on October 17 and 18. Convention guests in town for shows like CES, NAB and SEMA also book our studio for interviews when a booth is not practical.

CES runs in January, and booth plans lock well before the holidays. If you want a podcast set on the CES floor, start the conversation now.

Questions to ask any podcast booth vendor

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to rent a podcast booth at a Las Vegas convention?

G Media's mobile podcast production is $750 per hour with a 3-hour minimum, covering the crew and gear at your venue. Days on the floor, hours per day and the number of edited episodes and clips shape the final quote, which you get in writing before the show.

How much booth space does a podcast set need?

About a 10 by 10 corner fits two chairs, two cameras, a microphone on each person and a producer. Send your booth size and floor plan early, and tell us whether the walls are hard wall or pipe and drape.

How fast do we get clips from the podcast booth?

Short clips for Reels, TikTok and LinkedIn are cut the same day, so you can post while the show is still open and people on the floor can find your booth. Fully produced episodes are delivered after the event.

How far ahead should we book a convention podcast booth?

Three weeks before load-in or earlier. Booth power has to be ordered in advance, and the load-in window and the venue's labor rules need to be confirmed before show week. For January shows like CES, plan before the holidays.

Do you travel, or are you local to Las Vegas?

G Media is local. The crew and the gear are based in Las Vegas at 4160 S Durango Dr, so there is no crew travel or hotel to book for shows at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Mandalay Bay, the Venetian or any other Las Vegas venue.
